The successful candidate will primarily be focused on supporting research within our state of the art laboratories based in Preston.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><span style="font-size: 18px;" id="isPasted">You will help coordinate and undertake maintenance and configuration of equipment and relevant software. As well as help with the introduction of new technologies, procedures and practices and be familiar with biological instrumentation.&nbsp;</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>About you:</strong></span></p><p id="isPasted"><span style="font-size: 18px;">The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a human tissue biobank, including sample storage maintenance and knowledge of legal requirements.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will have an undergraduate degree in a Biology related subject or equivalent experiential learning.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">Candidates should be practical with a keen interest in science and technology supported by great customer service skills. The ability to adapt knowledge and experience to support staff and students across the wide range of subject disciplines we support would be a distinct advantage. Candidates must also have good verbal and written communication skills.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview.
