The role of Deputy Head, Student Casework within the Academic Registry will lead the development, promotion and implementation of policies and procedures relating to Student Complaints, Student Disciplinaries, Fitness to Practice, Academic Misconduct and Appeals.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">The postholder will provide leadership of the student casework function, providing expert advice and guidance to senior colleagues and Investigating Officers across the University, and promote a culture of learning from case findings and outcomes to enhance the student experience. As a member of the Academic Registry, reporting to the Director of Student Casework and Placement Learning, you will work closely with other professional services managers and academic leaders to deliver service excellence and deliver organisational change.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>About you:</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><span style="font-size: 18px;" id="isPasted">Experience of leadership and management in higher education and a commitment to continual improvement are essential, along with experience of drafting policies and procedures. Candidates should have a track record in managing successful teams and developing a positive and inclusive culture.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><span id="isPasted">An undergraduate degree or equivalent experiential learning is required for this role.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong id="isPasted">Use of AI in applications:&nbsp;</strong>We want to understand your genuine interest in the role and artificial intelligence can be a useful tool to support your application.
