About the role:

Based within our Digital Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the performance of the University website. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Web Content Manager, you’ll lead on SEO activity to increase organic traffic, improve search visibility, and optimise user journeys. You’ll use data, insight and testing to drive continuous improvement across the site and support wider digital campaigns.

About you:

You’ll have proven experience in SEO with strong technical SEO knowledge and hands-on experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console. You’re confident working with data, able to turn insight into clear recommendations, and understand how user journeys impact conversion. You’ll be a strong communicator, able to share insight effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, and demonstrate a commitment to collaborative working and continuous improvement.

You will need to have a Level 3 qualification, such as A Levels or BTEC, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning, along with an SEO training certification.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Web Content Manager to join our External Relations team. This is a job share role, working two days per week (Monday and Friday).

In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of high-quality website content and digital assets. Your work will enhance user experience, support marketing objectives, and maximise online visibility. You will work closely with colleagues across Marketing and the wider organisation to shape and deliver a content strategy aligned with organisational priorities. You will ensure all content is clear, accurate, consistent, and on brand.

You will also collaborate with teams to create engaging campaigns and user-focused journeys. Using analytics, user feedback, and testing, you will continuously improve website performance.

As part of a job share, you will work closely with your counterpart to maintain a seamless and consistent approach and management of the wider team. 

About you:

You are a skilled digital content professional with strong experience in web and content marketing, hands-on experience of content management systems and a solid understanding of content marketing techniques. This includes SEO, digital campaigns, and user journey optimisation.

You will be organised and able to work collaboratively, build strong relationships, and motivate others to deliver high-quality content.

You will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant area or equivalent experiential learning.
