If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Software Test Analyst. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">This is a new role which will be responsible for a number of areas; to include creating and executing test plans and test cases, working closely with Business Analysts and development teams to define acceptance criteria, identifying and resolving defects. &nbsp;You will also be guiding stakeholders through UAT with clear documentation and training, and continually improving testing processes to deliver high‑quality user experiences.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>About you:</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant area or equivalent professional experience, along with experience of working within a relevant technical platform and a proven track record as a solution tester within related platform environments. &nbsp;You will also have experience in supporting business stakeholders through User Acceptance Testing. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will know how to harness the power of tools such as SQL, Azure DevOps, and Service Now to enhance the efficiency of our testing practices and be able to spot opportunities to automate testing and streamline the delivery process using JavaScript / TypeScript with Playwright. &nbsp;Experience of covering non-functional testing requirements using tools like OWASP ZAP, JMeter and Axe would also be ideal.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>Use of AI in applications:</strong> We want to understand your genuine interest in the role and artificial intelligence can be a useful tool to support your application. The successful candidate will be primarily focussed on supporting Undergraduate and Postgraduate veterinary/laboratory activities within our state-of-the-art science laboratory and clinical facilities in our new School of Veterinary Medicine. This includes mock theatres, dentistry suite, radiography suite, kennels and cattery, physiotherapy suite including hydrotherapy treadmill and more.&nbsp;</span></p><p id="isPasted"><span style="font-size: 18px;">Duties will include the set up and preparation of laboratories and providing day to day technical support and advice to staff and to students studying Veterinary Science in our clinical areas. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>About you:</strong></span></p><p id="isPasted"><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will need to be practical with a keen interest in animal sciences, be IT literate and have a working knowledge of veterinary equipment, supported by great customer service skills. You must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with colleagues, staff and students. A degree of manual handling may be involved e.g. lifting and carrying clinical/veterinary equipment. A flexible approach is required to weekly working patterns due to the student timetable. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">An undergraduate degree in a relevant animal science or equivalent experiential learning in Veterinary Science will be required for this role.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview.
