The role will make an important contribution to the academic development, course management and delivery of our Accounting and Finance provision, with particular expertise in Financial Accounting and Auditing.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will contribute to teaching across our portfolio, including taking responsibility for relevant modules, supporting students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and contributing to the continued development and enhancement of our curriculum. You will also have opportunities to contribute to research, knowledge exchange and the School&rsquo;s wider engagement with industry, employers and professional communities.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">A particularly important aspect of this role is the connection between academic learning and the accounting profession. We are therefore looking for someone who can bring relevant professional accountancy expertise into the classroom and help prepare students for successful careers within accounting and finance.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>About you:</strong></span></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true"><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will have expertise in Accounting and Finance, particularly Financial Accounting and Auditing, alongside experience of teaching within higher education. You will be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning that engages students and connects academic theory with contemporary professional practice.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will hold a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA), with current membership of the professional body. Importantly, you will also have experience of preparing learners for, teaching towards and/or assessing professional accountancy examinations, particularly within Financial Accounting and Auditing.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will bring a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
